What we expect from you!

All we ask is that you come to us with an open mind, and a willingness to learn. We don't expect everyone that comes into CAP to want to join the military, or to be military minded, Civil Air Patrol is much more than that. CAP is an organization whose focus is on helping others in need, serving our community, and serving our country. If you have that need to help others, assist your fellow Americans, and have a little fun while you are at it, we might be the place for you.

Being The Auxiliary of the United States Air Force allows us to have certain abilities. One of those abilities is making sure that we have only the best serving with and supervising our cadets. For prospective senior members wanting to join the program you are required to submit to a local, state, and federal background check along with a BCI and FBI fingerprint screening. The findings will then be forwarded to the CAP National Headquarters for final review. Upon final review you will be notified either in writing or by phone of your acceptance into Americas finest force of volunteers.
